Design of human pulse oximetry system

This design integrates multiple key modules such as the STM32 microcontroller, pulse oximeter module, WiFi communication module, alarm module, independent button module, and OLED display. In terms of data acquisition, the pulse oximeter sensor is utilized to accurately detect human pulse and blood oxygen data. When the detected data exceeds the threshold, the buzzer will immediately activate to sound an alarm to alert the user. Regarding threshold setting, users can complete it through the independent button, and the set threshold will be updated in real-time and displayed on the OLED display, enabling convenient human-computer interaction. In addition, the device supports mobile phone APP connection. Users can not only view the measured pulse and blood oxygen information anytime and anywhere through the mobile phone APP, but also remotely adjust the measurement threshold. To verify the performance of the device, we conducted multiple tests under different scenarios. The test results showed that the design’s accuracy and real-time performance were verified within the allowable error range.
