Low-Power Design and Optimization of Power Terminal Communication Module Based on 5G Power Harmony RedCap Technology
In the process of intelligent evolution of power system, power terminal communication module faces severe power consumption challenges. This paper focuses on the power terminal communication module under the integration of 5G power Harmony RedCap technology, and strives to overcome the problem of low power consumption. At the software level, a dynamic power management algorithm is innovatively proposed, which uses real-time status monitoring and task priority judgment to intelligently switch power consumption modes. Through Simulink, the module function and power consumption model is built, and an experimental platform consisting of a power terminal communication module prototype, development board, etc. is constructed. Comparative experiments show that after adopting the low-power design scheme in this paper, the module power consumption in normal communication mode is significantly reduced by 35%, and the idle standby mode is reduced by as much as 60%. In terms of communication quality, the packet loss rate is stably controlled within 1%, and the bit error rate is maintained below 10⁻⁶. The research results lay a solid foundation for improving the battery life and stability of power terminal communication modules, and effectively promote the development of the power Internet of Things to a new height.
