Dynamic Group Delay Compensation in Multipath Scenarios for 6G positioning

With the continuous expansion of commercial application scenarios and sustained growth in consumer-level positioning demands, indoor environments have generated urgent requirements for centimeter-level positioning accuracy. However, the performance of existing systems is severely constrained by dynamic multipath effects and group delay induced by complex indoor environments, making it challenging to meet the precision requirements for future applications such as smart warehousing and medical robotics. To solve these challenges, this paper developed a group delay compensation method based on reflection cancellation (RCGD). Through the construction of a multi-base-station indoor positioning test scenario, we systematically analyze the impact patterns of material variations, the scale of space, and bandwidth expansion on group delay compensation efficacy. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this method in achieving centimeter-level positioning accuracy and dynamic robustness in indoor environments.
