ANN Based Interline Power Flow Controller (IPFC) for Power System Security Enhancement
In contemporary power systems, maintaining stability and minimizing oscillations is vital for ensuring a continuous and dependable electricity supply. A promising solution to achieve these objectives is the multi-line device method used. The research investigates development of a PIbased controller for two static synchronous series compensators (SSSCs), using a unified and simultaneous firing strategy across multiple transmission lines. The primary goal is to enhance the system's first peak stability, reduce settling time, and suppress oscillations within large and complex networks. The control strategy for the voltage fed inverterbased SSSC designed to augment transient actuation under different operating conditions. The performance of PIconfigured IPFC in comparison of Function Fitting ANN is designed to achieve 95.26& enhance stability under large disturbance, which is validated in a MATLAB simulation environment.
