Design and application of transmission photoelectric sensors in bubble detection devices
In this study, a bubble detection device based on a transmissive photoelectric sensor was designed for FEP and PTFE tubing of 1.5 cm × 2.5 cm size. The device adopts the EE-SX1350 transmissive photoelectric sensor to realize bubble detection by monitoring the sensor output voltage change with high accuracy and real-time performance. The structure of the device is designed with a special fixture to ensure a stable connection between the sensor and the pipeline, effectively preventing leakage of the light signal. The integrated light alarm and human-computer interaction interface, and the Modbus RTU protocol to achieve communication with the host computer, to facilitate remote monitoring and data management. The experimental results show that the device has an accuracy of 99.3% in detecting bubbles with a flow rate of 500 μL/s and an equivalent volume of about 5 μL, 100% in transparent liquids, and 98.7% in turbid liquids. This study provides a new solution for bubble detection technology, showing the potential for a wide range of applications in vitro diagnostics and other fields.
