Frequency Agility-Based Back Projection Algorithm for SAR Imaging
Traditional SAR imaging algorithms, such as the classical back projection (BP) algorithm, offer high imaging accuracy but often encounter performance limitations when dealing with complex environments or interfering signals. In recent years, with the advancement of signal processing technologies, Frequency Agility has emerged as a promising technique and has garnered significant attention in the fields of communication and radar. By dynamically adjusting the operating frequency, Frequency Agility can effectively enhance the system's resistance to interference and noise. Therefore, this paper introduces Frequency Agility into the back projection (BP) imaging algorithm and investigates its advantages in terms of noise resistance. A phase compensation strategy adapted to the characteristics of Frequency Agility is also proposed to improve imaging quality. Experimental results demonstrate that, compared to the conventional BP algorithm, the proposed method shows slight improvements in noise resistance and yields better imaging quality when phase compensation is applied with the transmitted frequency matching the compensating frequency.
