Enhancing GNSS Positioning Accuracy with a Novel GBAS Technology
With the pervasive integration of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) in areas such as positioning, navigation, and time synchronization, enhancing positioning accuracy remains a critical research focus in both academia and engineering. Traditional GNSS positioning accuracy is constrained by various factors including atmospheric disturbances, multipath effects, and satellite geometric configuration. To address these limitations, Ground-Based Augmentation Systems (GBAS), an effective technology for improving positioning accuracy, have garnered increasing attention. Building upon conventional GBAS algorithms, this paper proposes an enhanced method that accurately calculates pseudorange corrections for mobile stations through data interaction between base stations and mobile stations. This method employs inverse distance weighted interpolation and least squares techniques to further improve the positioning accuracy of mobile stations. To validate the effectiveness of this model, this study utilizes LabSat3W and SatGen simulation software to simulate the positional information of base and mobile stations over time, and compares the positioning accuracy before and after the application of GBAS technology through a series of simulation tests. The experimental results demonstrate that this technology can significantly enhance GNSS positioning accuracy and improve system adaptability in high-dynamic environments. As the application of Beidou satellites and ground-based augmentation systems deepens across multiple sectors and their technical capabilities continue to advance, these systems are expected to provide more precise and reliable positioning services, offering robust technical support for the development of various industries.
