Research on Wideband Radar Signal Generator Based on PXI-e Bus

In order to meet the test requirements in the development and use of modern broadband radar system, a broadband radar signal generator based on PXI-e bus is designed and realized. The hardware part of the signal generator consists of FPGA, DDR4 memory circuit, 12GSa/s DAC circuit, signal conditioning circuit, clock circuit and power supply circuit. The software design contains three major functional modules: broadband radar signal generation human-computer interaction module, broadband radar transmit signal waveform generation module, and real-time radar signal generation driver module. Compared with the traditional radar signal generation system, this system has better bandwidth characteristics, higher hardware and software interaction response efficiency, and can effectively meet the needs of a variety of radar test scenarios.
