Design of a Remote Coplanar Rendezvous Strategy for Near-Circular Orbits Using Three-Pulse Transfer

For remote coplanar rendezvous missions in near-circular orbits, a three-pulse transfer control scheme is proposed to complete orbital adjustments and rendezvous control through three maneuvering operations. Initially, a three-pulse maneuver formulation is defined, and the constraints required for the maneuvers to satisfy rendezvous requirements are analyzed. Subsequently, an adaptive approach to high-precision orbital dynamics is achieved by employing a segmented fitting method to compute orbital periods. Finally, the allowable altitude range for orbital maneuvers is exhaustively determined through parameter sweeping, and fuel-optimal maneuver strategies are selected from the feasible solutions. The validity of the method is verified via mathematical simulations.
