REABILITAÇÃO DE MAXILA ATRÓFICA COM PROTOCOLO ALL ON FOUR HÍBRIDO COM FOLLOW-UP DE 24 MESES: RELATO DE CASO

The loss of dental elements leads to a scenario of progressive bone resorption of the maxillary bones, which can cause vertical bone loss with gradual decrease of the medullary bone, which can make the rehabilitation process with osseointegrated implants unfeasible. Zygomatic fixation protocols associated or not with conventional implants represent alternatives in maxillary bones with moderate or severe structural loss. The objective of this study is to describe, through a case report, the treatment protocol for atrophic maxilla using four zygomatic fixation implants in an immediate loading system over a follow-up period of 24 months. All implants showed clinical and radiographic signs of the osseointegration process and no pathology was detected. The efficiency of the technique is suggested, without the need for, in this specific case, the use of previous procedures for reconstruction of the atrophied maxilla.
