Tailoring the properties of Sb 3+ -doped in-based organic–inorganic hybrid metal halides through A-site cation engineering
This study explores how A-site cation engineering and Sb3+ doping alter the structure and optical properties of two zero-dimensional (0D) organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides (OIHMHs). Incorporating C4H10SN+ (TMPL = protonated thiomorpholine) into (Ph3S)2InCl5:Sb3+ (Ph3S = triphenylsulfonium cation) forms (Ph3S)(TMPL)2InCl6:Sb3+, causing a blue-shift in emission from orange-red to yellow.
