Architecture design of multi-level cooperative control satellite network based on SDCDN
Satellite network is a next-generation shared space information infrastructure. However, the current satellite network predominantly adopts a static architecture, which presents challenges such as inflexible network configuration, high hardware dependency, and low transmission efficiency. As a novel networking paradigm, Software Defined Content Distributed Network (SDCDN) leverages software virtualization and localized content storage distribution to offer significant advantages. Building upon the characteristics of SDCDN, this paper proposes a multi-level cooperative control architecture for satellite networks that defines the business process and meticulously designs a three-layer control structure comprising space-based two-layer control and ground-based cluster control. This design successfully achieves data plane and control plane separation while enabling centralized scheduling of network tasks. The proposed architecture facilitates various functionalities including resource scheduling, traffic management, load balancing, performance monitoring, and fault management. Consequently, it enhances the flexibility and efficiency of satellite networks while providing robust architectural support for future space network construction.
