On priorities of state policy determining activities in the field of children recreation and health improvement

The article is devoted to the study of the priorities of state policy that determine activities in the field of recreation and recreation for Russian children in 2025. The relevance of the study is due to the special anniversaries for the most famous children’s recreation organizations in Russia in 2025, the most important of which is the 100th anniversary of the Artek International Center. These are also anniversaries related to the 65th anniversary of the All-Russian Children’s Center «Eaglet» and the 40th anniversary of the All-Russian Children’s Center «Smena». The author notes that in order to address current issues and problems in this area, as well as to identify common priorities of state policy governing activities in the field of recreation and recreation for Russian children, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has declared 2025 the Year of Children’s Recreation in the education system. Among the priorities of the Year of Children’s Recreation are identified: increasing the information openness of the children’s recreation system in Russia, the formation of unified approaches to the system of upbringing and additional education in recreation and recreation organizations for children. The conducted research made it possible to present the positions of Russian scientists on the problems of organizing children’s recreation in the country, analyze individual data on the state of the main indicators of the field of children’s recreation and draw the necessary conclusions. The main conclusion is made about the positive dynamics in the number of beds in organizations of children’s recreation and rested children. Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that the number of organizations providing children with summer holidays and recreation decreased in 2024 compared to the previous 2023. This situation requires its own adjustment in the direction of increasing the organization of children’s recreation in future periods.
