Electronic personnel document management (EPDM) is a system for the automated processing, signing, storage, and administration of documents related to labor relations in digital format. The article examines the essence and key features of EPDM, its legal framework, the stages of its implementation in organizations, and the main challenges faced in practice. The study analyzes the technical, organizational, legal, and financial barriers to EPDM adoption and provides recommendations for overcoming them. Particular attention is paid to information security requirements, personal data protection, and the need for integration with other corporate information systems.
