OPTIMIZATION OF PRODUCTION PROCESSES AS A TOOL FOR INCREASING LABOR PRODUCTIVITY IN HEAVY INDUSTRY

The scientific article presents the results of a study of the main directions for optimizing production processes at heavy industry enterprises in order to ensure increased efficiency and productivity of workers. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that labor productivity directly depends on the indicators of efficiency and sustainability of production processes. Therefore, decisions to increase labor productivity are associated with taking measures to improve production at heavy industry facilities. The article examines the current problems of production at industrial enterprises of the Russian economy, which form this practical need to optimize production processes. The results of the study allow us to recommend a list of measures and actions that can increase the labor productivity of workers at heavy industry enterprises while achieving goals in improving production and optimizing production processes. These include lean manufacturing concept technologies, organization of a control system, optimization of production losses and product defects, and the use of digital twins in modeling production processes.
