CLUSTERIZATION OF TOURIST TERRITORIES AS A MECHANISM OF THEIR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
In regions with exceptional natural and tourist assets, the main form of economic activity is the development of tourism and recreation, and one of the key issues is the search for mechanisms to ensure effective and sustainable development in the long term. The tourism and recreation complex is considered as an open system that includes elements such as recreation infrastructure (guest houses, hotels, sanatoriums, restaurants, transport services) and recreation areas, including tourist hubs and other components. When discussing sustainable areas for the development of tourist zones, it is worth focusing on them as regions with the largest flow of tourists. In other words, the tourist area is a space where the emphasis is on the development of recreation and tourism, provided by an extensive infrastructure of enterprises focused on the comfortable stay of guests. The objectives of the study are to systematize the parameters that determine the sustainability of the environment and the effective development of the region.
