The article is devoted to the study of practices used in managing distributed teams. The distinctive features of distributed databases are considered. The successful experience of managing distributed teams is summarized. Examples of management decisions that contribute to the effective work of distributed teams are given. The critical zones that determine success/failure in the transition to a hybrid work format are highlighted.
