Case-Centric And Object-Centric Process Mining: A Use Case For Supply Chain Resilience Management
The article examines the application of case-centric process mining (CCPM) and object-centric process mining (OCPM) in supply chain resilience manage-ment through a comparative analysis. Using a simulat-ed order-to-cash process based on the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model, we evaluate how these approaches can identify and analyze process vulnerabilities and disruptions. While CCPM provides quick insights into process performance through tradi-tional event logs, OCPM offers deeper analysis of ob-ject interactions and chain reactions through its multi-dimensional approach. Our findings demonstrate that OCPM more effectively identifies critical products, analyzes chain reactions, and enables targeted measures to improve delays and process stability.
