Investigation of the Influence of Model Aggressive Environments on the Change of the Mechanical Properties of Ordinary and Ultra High Performance Concrete

The paper presents the results of a comparative study of the mechanical properties of ordinary and high-strength concrete under short-term static loads in the conditions of cyclically acting model aggressive environments with different concentrations. Standard methods are used to evaluate the mechanical properties. The influence of the composition of the matrix of the studied concretes and the concentration of the aggressive agent is analyzed, and a good comparability of the results obtained from the two studied compositions is established.

Abstract

The paper presents the results of a comparative study of the mechanical properties of ordinary and high-strength concrete under short-term static loads in the conditions of cyclically acting model aggressive environments with different concentrations. Standard methods are used to evaluate the mechanical properties. The influence of the composition of the matrix of the studied concretes and the concentration of the aggressive agent is analyzed, and a good comparability of the results obtained from the two studied compositions is established.
