Modeling the Dust Envelope of RWLMI
This paper presents the results of modeling the dust envelope around the carbon star RW LMi. The optical depth at a wavelength of 0.5 μm is12.2 ± 0.2, the inner radius of the envelope is 7.8 ± 0.3 au, the outer radius of the envelope is 10 000 ± 1 000 au, the maximum radius of dust particles is 2.5 ± 0.5 .m, the ratio C/SiCis0.6 ± 0.1. An estimate of the mass loss rate by the star Mtotal 8.4 ≈ 10−6 M 10−6 M Ꙩ/year was obtained.
