Summary and Analysis of Methanol Maser Flares and Magnetic Fields Near Massive Young Stars

We analyze observational data on methanol masers in the massive star formation regions: NGC6334I, G33.641-0.228, G11.497-1.485, G107.298+5.639, G12.89+0.49. Special attention is paid to analysing data on magnetic fields and their possible connection with maser flares. For this purpose, we estimate the magnetospheric radius and the magnetic energy in the region of this radius. For the objects, the magnetospheric radius range from 2 to 11 stellar radii. For objects NGC6334I, G12.89+0.49, the magnetic energy attributable to outburst episodes is small. In objects G33.641-0.228, G11.497-1.485, G107.298+5.639, the magnetic energy is comparable to the flare luminosity, i. e. the magnetic field may play a significant role in the dynamics of these objects.
