Sources of Gas Ionization in The Interacting Galaxy NGC 5278
This paper analyzes spectral observations of the active interacting galaxy NGC 5278 obtained at the 6m telescope of the SAO RAS and taken from the open archive of MaNGA/SDSS integral-field spectroscopy. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the gas state based on the diagrams of the optical emission line flux ratios. It is shown that a significant contribution to the ionization of the interstellar medium comes from the radiation of the active nucleus, shock ionization, and the young stellar population.
