One-Dimensional Numerical Model of The MHD Outflows from Young Stellar Objects

We present a one-dimensional MHD model of the outflow from a geometrically thin Keplerian disk of a young star in hydrostatic equilibrium. The two-step Lax - Wendroff. scheme is used for the modeling. The disk structure is calculated using the model of Dudorov & Khaibrakhmanov (2013). The calculations show that an intense toroidal magnetic field is generated near the disk surface, the gradient of which accelerates the gas to supersonic velocities within several height scales above the disk. The lapse rate increases with decreasing plasma β and shows a complex dependence on the distance from the star.
