Analysis of FR Cnc And GSC-02038-00293 Spot Activity from Multiyear Photometric Observations
We present multicolour photometric observations of the young chromospherically active dwarf star FR Cnc and the poorly studied eclipsing double system GSC-02038-00293 in the B, V, R, and I bands. The light curves for different observation epochs were constructed and analysed, which showed the presence of a rotational modulation of the light curve from season to season. Using two-colour diagrams of the dependence of the light in the B, I, and R bands on the light in the V band, it is shown that this modulation is caused by the presence of cold photospheric spots. Modelling of the spottedness of FR Cnc and GSC-02038-00293 on the basis of the zonal model was performed, and the main parameters of the spotted regions were calculated: area, temperature, latitude, and spot filling rate.
