Metode Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Budaya Sintuwu Maroso Kedalam Materi Pembelajaran

This study aims to describe the methods used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at MTs Negeri 2 Poso, Poso Regency, to integrate the values of Sintuwu Maroso culture into PAI learning materials. The background of this research lies in the importance of strengthening character education based on local values that align with Islamic teachings. This is particularly relevant because PAI instruction often focuses more on theoretical aspects rather than practical application in daily life. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews with teachers of Qur'an Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed and Ethics), Islamic Cultural History, and Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence). The findings reveal that Sintuwu Maroso values—such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, unity, and deliberation—have been contextually integrated into each PAI subject. Teachers adapt these values to the content of the lessons and the social needs of students, making the learning process more relevant and meaningful. This integration not only strengthens students’ understanding of Islamic teachings but also fosters cultural awareness and character development in their daily lives.
