Calibration of a step gauge (APMP.L-K5.n01)

Main text The results of the inter-RMO key comparison APMP.L-K5.n01 on the calibration of a step gauge are reported. Seven National Metrology Institutes from two different metrological regions all over the world participated in this comparison which lasted one year, from July 2021 to July 2022. The Artefact is a 700 mm nominal length step gauge with 20 mm steps and consists of 36 measurement faces. The KCRV for each measured interval is the weighted mean of the largest consistent subset of participants. Of the seven participants, five successfully demonstrated the validity of the claimed measurement capability. To reach the main text of this paper, click on Final Report . Main text The results of the inter-RMO key comparison APMP.L-K5.n01 on the calibration of a step gauge are reported. Seven National Metrology Institutes from two different metrological regions all over the world participated in this comparison which lasted one year, from July 2021 to July 2022.
