Heterogeneous Integration of Optical Biosensing with Electrode Coated ECG and PPG Applications
The proposed optical sensor uses laser driver on OPVs transmitter with VCSEL and received pulse oxygen signal change of blood vessel from thin coating Fresnel receiver. The proposed integrated successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with optical receiver of near infrared laser driven (NIRLD) charging for healthcare (HC), ECG and PPG sensor of low consumption and battery life consider. The OPVs laser driver with VCSEL to light guide directly when receiver optical charging to ADC. The thin Fresnel solution can enhance wide angle received results and asynchronous control logic to drive the ADC is used. By applying single-sided switching proposal that decrease DAC switching by neural networks (NN) consumption, the proposed SAR ADC achieves asynchronous control logic is used which doesn’t need an external enhance frequency clock to spur ADC for healthcare applications.
