Isolation Enhancement of Multiple-Slot MIMO Antenna design for UWB Applications
A highly isolated two-port MIMO antenna is suggested with dimensions of $36 \times 38 \times 1.6 \mathrm{~mm} 3$. To increase bandwidth and gain while reducing the amount of reciprocal coupling between adjacent components, a circular slot is used on the rectangle patch’s edges. Four rectangular slots are carved into the patch to increase bandwidth and gain. Using a U-shaped DGS improves isolation between the parts. To get the UWB response, a partial ground plane has been added. The MIMO system has sufficient isolation below 15 dB and UWB response from 3.1-12 GHz. The parameters S11, S12, gain, and efficiency are simulated for the suggested structure using HFSS. There is good agreement between the measured and simulated outcomes. The proposed antenna delivers an outstanding MIMO diversity response with minimal mutual coupling influence, determined by measurements of MIMO parameters including ECC, DG, TARC and CCL.
