A Novel Approach to Efficient Network Adaptation in MANETs with QED
Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANETs) is a self-configured network of mobile nodes that have no clearly defined structure, making it highly flexible. This paper proposes a new concept which improves adaptation using the QoS-Enabled Routing Protocol (QED) in MANETs. QED uses various quality of service metrics in the availability of the route and therefore it deals with active network problems such as changing bandwidths, delays, and packet loss. In this context MANETs, deployment of QED is simulated and its effectiveness is assessed against standard routing approaches. The results of the simulation show that QED can make routing efficiently through path optimization for real-time QoS. There are noticeable improvements compared to conventional methods when it comes to key performance parameters. Also, with a heavy presence of motion, QED still manages to minimize the burden of routing messages through a robust routing structure. The results show that QED improves reliability of data communication within MANETs and at the same time guarantees QoS ability during data transmission even in unfavorable conditions. This study extends the research activities related to the enhancement of mobile ad-hoc network performance by presenting a solution for QoS provisioning in the process of routing. The practical applications of this research in disaster recovery, military communications, and vehicular networks underscore its relevance and potential impact.
