Ag-based interference filter by plasma assisted reactive magnetron sputtering

Dielectric/Ag/dielectric based interference color filters are deposited by plasma assisted reactive magnetron sputtering (PARMS). A peak transmission of 50-55 % in RGB regions and a high optical density of 4.5 in the NIR was achieved without compromising the environmental stability criteria.

Abstract

Dielectric/Ag/dielectric based interference color filters are deposited by plasma assisted reactive magnetron sputtering (PARMS). A peak transmission of 50-55 % in RGB regions and a high optical density of 4.5 in the NIR was achieved without compromising the environmental stability criteria.
