Implementasi Pembelajaran PAI Dalam Menumbuhkan Sikap Toleransi Siswa Kelas Inklusi SMA Karya Pembangunan Paron Ngawi

Abstract: Tolerance is a fundamental attitude that should be developed in inclusive classrooms because it needs to emphasizes empathy, cooperation, respect, and care. The objective of this research is to investigate the implementation of PAI learning in promoting tolerance values among students, as well as to assess the tolerance attitudes of students in the inclusive classroom at SMA Karya Pembangunan Paron. This study employs a qualitative methodology utilizing a case study approach, with data validity tested through triangulation. Data collection techniques include observations, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects comprise PAI teachers and students within the inclusive classroom. The findings indicate that the implementation of PAI learning in cultivating tolerance attitudes among students in the inclusive classroom is characterized by: (a) the primary content of PAI, specifically aqidah akhlak, which reflects the competency of PAI teachers in effectively applying Quranic verses that embody tolerance values, thereby fostering mutual trust, understanding, and love, while guiding and motivating students to engage in tolerance-promoting activities; (b) pedagogical models, methods, and strategies that support tolerance through an interactive learning approach, which includes discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and habituation practices. Additionally, the results of student interventions in the inclusive classroom demonstrate the development of empathy, patience, and a commitment to avoiding discriminatory behaviors.
