Optimizing Biomedical Networks: Graph Factorization for Efficient Logistics
The efficient transport of biomedical goods is essential for maintaining effective healthcare services. Delays in deliveries of critical supplies like vaccines, blood samples, and emergency medicines can have serious consequences. This paper examines how graph factorization techniques can be applied to improve logistical efficiency. We focus on three key problems: optimizing emergency medical transport through graph-based assignment models, using multiple optimization algorithms to determine the most effective delivery routes, and developing contingency plans for disruptions such as road closures. By applying combinatorial optimization, bipartite graph matching, and factorization methods, we propose solutions that enhance the reliability and efficiency of biomedical transportation.
