Study on Microwave Frequency Hopping Signal Technology Grounded in Coherent Multi-optical-comb Systems
Frequency hopping communication can effectively mitigate fading and substantially improve the quality of communication. Moreover, it can effectively enhance the confidentiality and anti-interference properties of communication. However, constrained by the bottleneck of electronic technology, traditional electronic frequency hopping systems suffer from problems such as low data transmission rate, slow frequency hopping speed, and narrow frequency hopping bandwidth. In accordance with the future development trend of frequency hopping communication and taking into account the characteristics of microwave photonic signals, including wide bandwidth, broad tuning range, low transmission loss, and strong anti-interference ability, this paper undertakes the "Research on Microwave Frequency Hopping Signal Technology Based on Coherent Multi-comb". In this research, the research team has constructed, through microwave photonic technology, a multi-comb optical signal source with a novel modulation format and has carried out research on microwave frequency hopping signal technology that features large bandwidth, tunability, and high anti-interference ability. By exploring new solutions for multi-comb signal sources, analyzing the influence mechanism of photonic carrier parameters on multi-combs, constructing a tunable large-bandwidth microwave photonic spread spectrum frequency hopping mode, and designing and optimizing digital optical domain signal compensation algorithms, active efforts and attempts have been made to solve the key technical problems of ultra-large bandwidth microwave frequency hopping signals.
