IoT-Based Luggage Monitoring and Real-Time Tracking System Using Microcontroller

Baggage loss and customer property damage are among the main problems that the aviation sector faces as the number of passengers worldwide rises. Travelers' worries about misplacing their bags during connecting flights are wellfounded, and the concept of employing IoT devices for luggage tracking is a creative and workable solution. The proposed system incorporates a Raspberry Pi, GPS module, LDR sensor, magnetic sensor, and buzzer device. The Raspberry Pi sends real-time alarm text messages with Google Maps links indicating the luggage's location to the Telegram app on mobile phones. Users will be able to track stuff in real-time and have peace of mind knowing that lost items can be found quickly by installing such devices in every piece of luggage. It's also important to consider the financial and practical implications of widely deploying this technology. Overall, using IoT to track luggage is a potential approach that fits with how technology is becoming increasingly integrated into all facets of daily life, including travel. Which opens up vast new horizons for future research in this attractive field.
