High-Performance 4-Bit DAC and Operational Amplifier Integration for Advanced ADC Systems

Data converters play an important role in the modern VLSI circuits. R-2R DAC integration contributes to higher resolution and improved signal integrity within 2 -step flash ADC. This makes digital-to-analog convertibility very reliable and secure for critical systems. The work may open a wide path to design low power and area-efficient yet fast DACs which will be optimized through further efforts on the design of operational amplifiers for better performance and reliability. The two-stage operational amplifier makes major contributions toward gain enhancement and signal integrity, hence improving circuit efficiency. This paper introduces a 4-bit R-2R DAC which has to be integrated into a 2-step flash ADC architecture with a two-stage operational amplifier, which provides improved precision, gain, and efficiency. The paper shows the design of operational amplifier with gain of 73.959 dB, and DAC with power consumption of 1.379 mW, delay of 265.572 ns, and a compact area of $6111.2058 \mu^{2}$. In conclusion, the design is appropriate for any kind of highperformance application requiring speed and accuracy.
