Development of design solutions for the knife executive body of the geokhod taking in to account technological features

Introduction. In the previously developed geokhod design for the formation of underground structures in soft rocks, a blade-shaped executive body with a helicoid shape is proposed as a working body. The parameters of the geokhod can be different, which complicates the manufacture of the product, given the technological capabilities. Research methods and materials. The paper considers the schematic solutions of the blade executive body of the geokhod, including the shape of the blade, the central part and mounting methods. These aspects affect the performance and service life of the device. The layout of the blades and the design of the central part are discussed, taking into account load distribution and wear minimization. Important parameters are the length of the blade, the angle of sharpening and the type of material, as well as the shape of the blade, which is crucial for the efficiency and reliability of the device. The results obtained and their discussion. Schematic solutions for the layout of the blade and the body of the geokhod’s executive body include various options for their location. The body can be located in the front for easy access to the face, and the blade is mounted at a level that ensures effective interaction with the rock. Additional elements fix the blade and body, which is important for their durability under varying loads. Various layout schemes have been developed that take into account the same cross-section trajectories of the blade and body. The 900 mm long body has three projections for mounting blades with two holes on each projection for mounting. Closer to the center, where the body section is rotated 90 degrees, the holes are m ade longitudinally and perpendicular to the blade section, which ensures reliable fixation of the blades and their quick replacement in cramped conditions. Conclusion. In conclusion, it is noted that separate blades in the design of the geokhod blade actuator have several advantages: they effectively distribute the load, increasing the service life of the tool; simplify the replacement of damaged blades without replacing the entire actuator, reducing maintenance costs. Resume. The article presents the results of the development of constructive solutions for the blade executive body of the geokhod, taking into account technological features. It has been established that when designing, it is important to take into account the operating conditions, which makes it possible to improve operational characteristics. The results will be used in the future to improve the efficiency of mining systems.
