Assessment of innovative and technological development priority of mining territories
Introduction. The effectiveness of scientific and technical activities is largely determined by the correct choice of development direction, appropriate concentration of financial, human and material resources in these areas, as well as accumulated experience. In these conditions, a preliminary assessment of the prospects and consequences of technology implementation is an important tool of innovation policy at all levels, allowing to identify with high accuracy the most significant risks and potential opportunities for the development of the industry and host regions that open up in connection with the introduction of innovative technologies. Research objective: to develop an algorithm for assessing the priority of innovation and technological development directions and the selection of critical technologies capable of ensuring the development of the coal industry and related industries in the context of the modern energy transition. Materials and methods. Sources: results of expert surveys of famous scientists and practitioners working in the coal industry, information from the Orbit Intelligence patent information system and the information retrieval system of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property. The work used the methods of patent analytics and fuzzy logic analysis (FAHP). Results. The authors of the article have developed an algorithm for data analysis, tested on the example of a priority technological direction of preparation of fuel mixtures. Discussion. The proposed assessment method allows making the forecast of the applicability of technologies more meaningful. Conclusion. The developed method allows predicting the emergence of new ones at the initial stages of the emergence of a technological direction. Proposals for practical application and directions for future research. The results obtained can be useful to government bodies and business structures operating in mining areas when forming high-tech sectors of the economy based on promising CSS.
