Laryngeal Myxofibrolipoma: A Case Report
Case RepoRtWe decided to proceed with surgical management via an external (transcervical) approach due to patient's clinical symptoms, site of the lesion, its proximity to surrounding important anatomical structures, and to ensure its complete removal (Fig. 2).The histopathological examination of the lesion revealed a specimen of size 6 x 4 x 2 cm, containing adipose tissue with areas of thick fibromyxoid septa, a myxofibrolipoma, and was negative for malignancy. The postoperative period was uneventful.
