Dari Lembar ke Laku: Eksplorasi Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam Novel Tere Liye untuk Penguatan Pembelajaran Sastra di SMA

Character education is a learning process that aims to shape a person's personality, morals, and ethics. This study aims to explain the values of character education in the novels Tentang Kamu and Janji by Tere Liye and their implications for learning from novel texts. This study is a literary study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data were obtained from two novels by Tere Liye, titled Tentang Kamu and Janji. A total of 342 character education values were identified in this study, consisting of 198 data points from the novel Tentang Kamu and 144 data points from the novel Janji. The data encompass five indicators of character education values: values related to God, values related to oneself, values related to others, values related to nature, and values related to the nation. These findings form the basis for developing a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based learning module to strengthen literature and character education in high schools in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum.
