Mi Bosque 3D: Exploring Ecuadorian Native Species in K-6 Students
Immersive technologies have emerged as promising tools for enhancing interactive learning experiences in educational environments. This project applied and evaluated the effectiveness of the “Mi Bosque 3D” game to socialize Ecuadorian native species in interactive classes for the Natural Sciences subject at the “Unidad Educativa Hno. Colegio Francisco Gárate” in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The results show a significant improvement in species knowledge and a high level of student satisfaction with the experience. These findings highlight the potential of immersive technologies to enrich teaching and strengthen the education of 63 students in the final three levels of General Basic Education (GBE).
