Multi-Wavelength Generation of Neodymium Lasers

Multi-wavelength lasers continue to be a popular topic in laser physics due to their wide range of practical applications, particularly in environmental monitoring, terahertz radiation generation, and optical interferometry. These lasers can generate time-synchronized, collinear laser radiation with two, three, or more spectral components using only one active medium. In this report, we explore the potential use of anisotropic active media, such as <tex>$\text{Nd}^{3+}: \text{YAlO}_{3}$</tex> for triplewavelength oscillation with a wavelength of 1064,1073, and 1079 nm. Additionally, we demonstrate laser using an isotropic active material <tex>$\text{Nd}^{3+}: \mathrm{Y}_{3} \text{Al}_{5} \mathrm{O}_{12}$</tex> that can produce switchable twowavelength radiation within the spectral range of 1319-1444 nm. Various methods for controlling spectral selective losses in optical cavity are considered.
