Faster-Than-Nyquist and Mimo Combinations Methods for Future High-Speed Communications

The aim of increasing the capacity of the modern communication system is crucial due to the number of subscribers growth and needed speed. Available technology such as MIMO provides us with capacity growth by higher number of antennas at both transmitting and receiving part of the system. The way to increase spectrum efficiency is to transmit data with a higher rate than Nyquist rate. There are some ideas in the report of combination between two technologies spatial multiplexing for MIMO and discrete variety of Faster-than-Nyquist (FTN). The simulation results provided for ordinary combination of DFTN and MIMO.

Abstract

The aim of increasing the capacity of the modern communication system is crucial due to the number of subscribers growth and needed speed. Available technology such as MIMO provides us with capacity growth by higher number of antennas at both transmitting and receiving part of the system. The way to increase spectrum efficiency is to transmit data with a higher rate than Nyquist rate. There are some ideas in the report of combination between two technologies spatial multiplexing for MIMO and discrete variety of Faster-than-Nyquist (FTN). The simulation results provided for ordinary combination of DFTN and MIMO.
