Multiservice Networks Performance Monitoring Using the Threshold Model
In this article we discuss performance monitoring of multiservice networks, which is necessary to ensure the communication services quality. For modern multiservice communication networks, the problem of ensuring the performance of network connections for transmitting communication service traffic, taking into account the various requirements for network resources from each service, is quite acute. To solve this problem, a set of performance indicators is needed, interconnected within a single network connection performance model that takes into account the synergy of the indicators. To form a network connection performance model, it is necessary to use performance indicators that reflect the impact of the communication network architecture, the operating features of network equipment and communication service systems on the overall quality of services. It is proposed to use the VECTOR-2019 measuring complex for measuring and remotely monitoring network performance indicators in a packet network.)
