The Use of Nonlinear Correction Elements to Improve the Dynamic Properties of the Control System
Effective synchronization of the set of processes implemented in control systems can be carried out in various ways. First of all, such actions are ensured by matching the parameters characterizing the dynamics of the functioning of such systems, while ensuring their stability. According to researchers in the field of technical cybernetics, both the dynamics of functioning and the stability of systems are significantly influenced by nonlinear elements, which are integral components of these control systems. Unfortunately, the nonlinearities caused by the nature, structure, or content of the above components cannot be successfully formalized by synthesizing models as a set of sufficiently precise equations. Moreover, the adequacy of such a synthesis of mathematical models, in fact, cannot be assessed and confirmed by conducting a set of field experiments due to their complexity, as well as the possibility of forming various situations with unpredictable negative consequences. Based on a systematic analysis of existing approaches, a number of solutions have been developed and substantiated that make it possible to synthesize a formal description of systems containing substantially nonlinear elements in their structure, while simultaneously assessing the accuracy and stability of control systems. The results of this scientific research can find practical application in the development and design of adaptive control systems for objects and processes of various nature.
