Influence of Destructive Factors on Functional Characteristics of a Heterogeneous Spatially Distributed Monitoring System
Modern monitoring systems united in a heterogeneous spatially distributed system face the problem of reduced stability of communication caused by the impact of destructive factors of different nature. This paper presents a model of the influence of external and internal destructive factors on the functional characteristics of the monitoring system on the example of a complex indicator - energy potential. As a spatially distributed system a graph structure consisting of information facilities, information processing centers and mobile control points as graph vertices and communication channels between them as graph edges is considered. It is shown that the strongest impact on the monitoring system, most rapidly reducing the energy potential, is the failure of information facilities and information exchange channels. Interference impacts only at very strong impacts, almost completely (70-80%) blocking the channels of information exchange between the elements of the spatially distributed monitoring system.
