Sulfonium salt formation-triggered regio- and Z -stereoselective phenoxythiolation of alkynes

We report a sulfonium salt formation-triggered, regio- and Z -stereoselective phenoxythiolation of alkynes with phenols and sulfoxides, enabling the synthesis of sulfur-containing aryl alkenylethers under mild one-pot conditions.
