AI-Assisted Dynamic Assessment System for English Language Proficiency

This article explores constructing and applying the dynamic assessment system of English ability assisted by artificial intelligence (AI). To eliminate the limitations of traditional assessment methods, this study proposes a dynamic assessment system based on a back propagation neural network (BPNN). The system collects learners' language samples in real-time, extracts feature with the help of a machine learning algorithm, and then trains models to evaluate English ability efficiently. The experiment achievement and satisfaction surveys show that the proposed system can shorten the assessment time with high accuracy. The research results provide a new way for English language ability assessment and also provide a reference for the application of AI in education. Future research will further improve the assessment system to provide learners with better assessment services.
