THE EFFECT OF CHIPPED, DISCOLORED, AND FRACTURED GEARS ON THE SPECTRAL VIBRATION CHARACTERISTICS OF GEARBOXES
Within the framework of this article, issues related to the study of the manifestation of defects and operational damage to gears of gearboxes of transport and technological machines are considered. The spectral characteristics of vibrations occurring during the operation of gearboxes, both in the presence of the defects under study and in their absence, are considered. Graphs of vibration spectra obtained during specialized research tests on a stand simulating the presence of operational defects are presented. Their type is analyzed and a classification option is proposed for linking production, technological defects and operational damages to the frequencies of the spectra.
