Moral-aesthetic Paradigms of Sentimentalism in Azerbaijani and English Literature Summary The article systematically analyzes the formation and development directions of sentimentalism in Azerbaijani literature against the background of its formation and aesthetic principles in European literature, draws ideological and aesthetic parallels between English and Azerbaijani literature, and identifies the forms of manifestation of sentimentalism in our national literature. The article also analyzes the mutual relations of the sentimentalism movement with enlightenment and romanticism and its literary and aesthetic significance on scientific grounds.
