Social and Pedagogical Essence of the Humanistic Approach to the Personality of the Student Summary The study showed that the embodiment of humanistic ideals that determine the meaning of pedagogical activity in the conditions of an unstable social situation and disunity of society and have long been the basis of human culture, requires an adequate approach to the student, the organization of his activities, the embodiment of the ideals of goodness, beauty, truth, equal relations between people. The implementation of a differentiated approach in education is an important factor in the humanization of the educational process. This approach implies that the teacher must be fair, take into account the individual characteristics of each student, understand his emotional state and adequately assess his educational activity and actions. Pedagogical justice is associated with such moral qualities as goodwill and humanity, which are indicators of the humanistic orientation of the teacher's personality.
